Savu Expands FP&A, Valuation Resources

TAMPA, Fla., October 8, 2019 — Sydney Consulting Group, a fast-growing actuarial, compliance, and general services consulting firm, announces the hiring of Andreea Savu as a Consultant to support its growing business.  Andreea is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.  She and her family will continue to reside in Columbia, South Carolina.

Andreea joins Bill, Mike Prendes, FSA, MAAA, and Kamran Malik, ASA, MAAA at Sydney after fourteen (14) years at Aflac and its subsidiaries, most recently as Vice President and Principal Financial Officer.  In her prior roles, Andreea led Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), partnered with sales to expand in new markets, and implemented sophisticated plans to drive strategic growth as well as partnerships.  Notably, Andreea’s valuation experience includes serving as the Appointed Actuary of Aflac Group, formerly Continental American Insurance Company.
